Hansal Mehta's 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story' To Premiere On OTT On October 9
Filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story finally gets a release date, will premiere on OTT platform, Sony LIV on October 9
OTT platform has something new to offer with each passing day. With many films skipping the theatrical release due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and opting for digital releases, filmmaker Hansal Mehta too has joined the bandwagon. His directorial venture Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story will premiere on October 9, 2020 on SonyLIV platform. The filmmaker also announced the trailer of this series will soon be out for the audience. The film shoot was wrapped up in March 2020.
The series will showcase the life of Harshad Mehta, a stockbroker who drove the stock market to some crazy heights, followed by his drastic downfall. This series is set in 1980’s and 90’s Bombay, which will allow the audience to once again get a glimpse of the old city of dreams. Along announcing the premiere date of the series, Hansal’s tweet carried a glimpse of the series, where the makers left the audience on a cliffhanger by not unveiling the face of the central character.

The filmmaker being more discreet in his yet another tweet mentioned they shot for 85 days over 6 months’ period, script of 550 pages, over 170 characters and 200 locations. Thanking the team for the all limitations and downfall they surpassed to make this show happen.
